This article teaches how to configur a new grants and scholarships settings in the system.
Make sure you have:
the Grants and Scholarship addon enabled (please feel free to contact [email protected] if you would like more information on enabling this addon)
the correct administrator permissions (Admission administrator”)
the information about your grants and scholarships.
Log in as an administrator with the permission “aids” (included with the Role “Superuser”).
From the Main menu, go to: Grants and Scholarships > Grants and Scholarships
Click on “+ Add a new Grant / scholarship”
Choose a type between “grant” or “scholarship”. It doesn’t effect on the functions, just determine the terminology used in the university.
Set the name for your grant / scholarship
Description - Describe the requirements for this scholarship or grant, along with any other pertinent information. It will not be displayed to the applicants.
Split the grant / scholarship payment:
Under the description is given a calendar. By clicking on the “+” button next to the each month, you can add the scheduled payments.
After adding the payment panel, click on Drop-down button to choose a budget. From the choosen budget will be taken a grant / scholarship amount. Total sum of the budget will be reduced with the same amount.
Click on “Allocate 100% x 0.00 from” button:
Set the how many percent will be counted in the grant / scholarship from:
Fixed amount - Set the amount
Specific amount - Choose a concrete of fee
Type of fee - Choose a type of fee
Click on “apply” button
You can add more than one item in the same month or you can add new items in the different months.
Click on “Save changes”
Under “Save changes” button click on Allocations:
Here you can find the grant / scholarship allocation based on:
Applicant citizenship
Applicant gender
Institution
Period
Under “Save changes” button click on Recipients:
By clicking on “Export” button, you can download data in CSV or Excel files.
