Teach how to create an admission quota for each study course, how to put applicants in the ranking table, and how to send out mass-offers.
Make sure you have already created:
In the program settings, under the “Scoring” section, choose and attach criterion.
Log in as admin
Go to Applications > Ranking
Adjust the filters as desired
You can view data within DreamApply as a graph, table, or even export it to Excel.
Click on “Ranking” next to the course/programme name
The first column shows the rank of applicants
The second column shows the applicant’s name
The third column shows the number of where the applicant placed the course/programme when ordering their priorities by preference. (Note: a ‘1’ here represents the applicant’s top priority.)
(optional: Scoring addon)The fourth column shows the application score, which is automatacilly calculated based on the the specific setup of the assigned Criterion. Next to the final grade, you can add extra points. If the score is empty, it means there is no Criterion attached to the study program.
Next to the score is given a history button. By clicking on it, administrator can see how the score has been changed.
At the bottom of the “Rank” column, you can specify the admission quota. If the quota is full, new applicants can still apply for the study program.
The very last column shows the current offer status of the applicant.
You can generate a new offer status by clicking on it and choosing the new one.
You can generate offer statuses in bulk:
Click on the “Send mass-offer” buttonlocated at the top of the offer status column.
Tick all the applicants, you would like to include in the bulk offer change
Click on “Continue”
Choose the new offer status and set the deadline for applicant’s decision (optional).
Customize an email template by using content markers and add an attachment (optional).
Click on “Preview your changes”.
Click on “Confirm and send out.”
Using the Ranking feature will help you track the available study places of the various courses/programmes and rank the applicants based on their priorities and Scoresheet scores. The Ranking places where you can send the offer in bulk, but consider that offers sent in bulk can only go to those applicants who have applied for the specific course/programme.
